Open forum with first-time voters’ students in Shkoze

02.05.2025 - The importance of the vote and the electoral process, the value of political programs and integrity in elections were part of the discussion with young first-time voters at the “Abdulla Keta” high school in Shkoze, Tirana.

The discussion was organized by experts Erjon Tase and Granit Sokolaj, as part of the project "Strong Partnerships for Sustainable Reforms - Strengthening the Role of Civil Society in Addressing the Challenges of Free and Fair Elections", implemented by the Institute of Political Studies and the Academy of Political Studies, supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands through the MATRA program.

Young high school graduates and first-time voters on May 11, 2025, held an open, interactive and encouraging discussion about their broadest possible involvement in the political and decision-making processes in the country.

Afterwards, the graduates took part in a practical simulation exercise of the voting process with the aim of raising their awareness of the importance of voting and exercising this right to vote in the upcoming parliamentary elections in the country.
