The Academy of Political Studies in collaboration with the National Authority for Electronic Certification and Cyber Security presented the findings of the monitoring of elements of violent extremism circulating on online platforms (2022) at a round table with key institutional actors and sector experts.
 
The recommendations provided by institutions and other actors aim to provide an orientation for the development of relevant policies by decision-makers for blocking content that promotes violent extremism on Albanian websites and social media platforms.

The meeting also served to launch the "Academy of Trusted Flaggers", the training cycle for 20 young experts, who are intended to be the first Albanian trusted flaggers of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and other online platforms.

This cooperation in providing demanding expertise as well as facilitating dialogue with the various actors in the field is supported by the US Embassy in Tirana within the program "Trusted Flaggers for a safe cyber ecosystem against violent extremism".
