The project “From Information to Action - Strengthening Organisations in Albania on Consumer Protection”, is being implemented for a period of two years (April 2021 - 2023) by European Movement Albania (EMA) in cooperation with Academy of Political Studies (ASP) and Alert Center, supported by the European Union under IPA 2017 funds.
The project will be conducted in 6 different areas of Albania (Tirana, Durrësi, Shkodra, Elbasani, Fieri and Korça). The action’s overall objective is to enhance the capacities of Albanian CSOs dealing with consumer protection issues, and use this expertise in close cooperation with the state institutions to influence the policy and decision-making processes in the frame of EU accession.
Main activities of the action include:
-Organization of School on Consumer Protection and European Integration;
-Developing and publication of an informative Handbook on engagement of activists in monitoring and policy making actions;
-Hands on support and mentoring of selected CSOs to engage and make use of the EI Partnership Platform;
In framework of these activities, this call is opened for one mentoring expert on EI Partnership Platform:
Objective: Expert Mentor will be in charge for mentoring of CSOs on the European Integration Partnership Platform by providing continuous support to CSOs who want to participate.
Tasks: 1) will coordinate and with the institutions in charge of the EIPP, the IIWGEI/GNPIE in each of the line ministries and will be up to date with developments on EIPP; 2) will support with applications to participate in Partnership Platform of the selected EU Acquis Chapter; 3) will support directly (hands on) in the 6 different regions covered by the action / and also in distance with relevant information, materials, applications, consultations, etc, upon demand of the CSOs;
