European Integration in the focus of the third national course of the School of Political Studies

The third national course of the Albanian School of Political Studies took place on December 10-12 in Durrës, focusing on the perspective of European Integration for Albania and the Western Balkans.

Mr. Gledis Gjipali, Director of the European Movement in Albania, presented Albania's current path towards the EU and the pre-accession mechanism, together with further steps in case of opening negotiations with the European Union. Regional economic cooperation initiatives were presented by Mrs. Odeta Barbullushi, national coordinator of the Regional Economic Zone.

The models of the welfare state, with an even greater importance in the situation of Covid-19, were at the center of the presentation of the economics expert and rector of the Mediterranean University, Mr. Adrian Civici.

The next module of the course was developed in the format of a training on profiling of political personality, aiming at recognizing and improving the negotiation skills of participants. The invited expert, Mr. Ervin Karamuço presented the contemporary techniques used in criminal psychological profiling and how they have been made available to politics, diplomacy and business in recent years.
