Internet and smart devices have found an even wider use by children and young people for online education due to COVID-19. Along with the innovations and benefits, this increased internet access requires greater preparation and care to avoid the negative consequences of online navigation.

To this end, students and teachers of elementary and high schools in Tirana district are being trained these days on the elements of violent extremism and other dangers circulating in the online space, within the project "Enhancing resilience in Albanian cyber ecosystem against Violent Extremism".

This program is implemented by the Academy of Political Studies in cooperation with the Coordination Center against Violent Extremism and the National Authority for Electronic Certification and Cyber ??Security with the support of the US Embassy in Tirana.
