The Academy of Political Studies finalized the second cycle of the Leadership Academy (LAP), a program of the Center of Expertise of the Council of Europe, which is being developed in cooperation with the Albanian School of Public Administration (ASPA), with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) .

The certification ceremony of 20 top management local administrators was organized on March 29, 2019, in Durres, at the end of the training cycle. The LAP certificates are accredited by the Council of Europe, the Albanian School of Public Administration and the Academy of Political Studies, as the implementer of this program.

The Leadership Academy program aims to empower leadership for organizations, strategic leadership and capacity building leadership, including the 12 principles of Good Governance of the Council of Europe, some of which include ethics, rule of law, efficiency and effectiveness, transparency , sound financial management and accountability.
