The Academy of Political Studies organized on November 22-23, the sounding board sessions of five policy research under the project "Policy Research Program for Young Academics" (PRYA). The researchers presented their studies in front of panels of experts who were invited to provide comments and recommendations on the drafts, with the aim to further improve the work before their final presentation. Part of the sessions were also representatives of the Tirana Municipality, who will be the beneficiaries of these studies.
The "Policy Research Program for Young Academics" (PRYA) focuses on 10 young academic researchers who are being trained and financially supported to explore five policies of interest to be implemented by the Municipality of Tirana. Researchers are being mentored in their work by the International Center for Policy Advocacy ICPA. This program is funded by PERFORM, a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), which is implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation in partnership with the University of Freiburg.
