The ASPS alumni and participants organized on 30 September 2015 a consultative meeting with the new mayor of Tirana, Mr. Erion Veliaj. The debate focused on the vision, strategy and challenges of the municipality for the sustainable development of the capital city. The alumni, who come from different backgrounds and professional careers, brought their suggestions and ideas about the future of Tirana.
Mr. Veliaj expressed its willingness for receiving ideas from the alumni network and he invited them to continue their contribution on the following public participative processes. The APS and the Municipality of Tirana are seeking to consolidate the cooperation with the aim of facilitating the dialogue on issues of public concern related to the democratic and integration processes in the country.
