The annual meeting of the directors of 21 Schools of Political Studies (SPS) of Council of Europe took place on 30-31 March 2015 in Budva. This event served to discuss trends of illiberal democracy and the erosion of human rights and freedoms, concerns which occupies an important place in the topics debatet in school's program. Directors also discussed the organization of two important events of the network of schools, such as the second international seminar of SPS alumni, as well as the next World Forum for Democracy in Strasbourg. The directors sent a new protest note to the government of Azerbaijan and relevant international organizations, asking the release of Mr. Ilgar Mammadov, director of the Azeri School of Political Studies. The Association of Schools, will continue to use all its influence and forms of protest until the release of his colleague.
