The ASPS alumni event was organized at the premises of Hotel Tirana International, in 19 December 2013, and was attended by more than 100 alumni from the generations 2007 – 2013. The topics discussed on the event were the updating of alumni data base; the presentation of new annual alumni magazine and the presentation of two new regional alumni activities as the Regional Academy for Democracy and the regional meeting of SPS alumni.

The executive director of Academy of Political Studies, Mr. Erjon Tase, stressed the importance of ASPS alumni network as a source of expertise and  as  active multipliers  in the dissemination of  standards  and  practices developed by the  Council of  Europe.
Present at this event were Mr. Marco Leidekker, the head of CoE office in Albania and Mrs. Anne Savary, Deputy Country Director of Swiss Cooperation Office in Albania. Mr. Leidekker addressed the participants inviting them to be more active in their role and ensured the continued contribution of Council of Europe for this very important network.

Discussants stressed the importance of this meeting and their aim for further strengthening the network on using their expertise in different fields. The event continued in a more familiar way during the cocktail part, where the alumni from different generations had the possibility to share their contacts and get to know each other better.
