Issues on EU integration take an important part in the program of the Albanian School of Political Studies. A particular focus is given the knowledge acquisition and taking in of main principles and challenges represented by the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the European Union, a very important document for accession.
Young politicians must earn such knowledge as well play an active role in the process which consist the main national priority.
Therefore, in the framework of the European Week, the Albanian School of Political Studies, in cooperation with the Ministry of European Integration of Albania will organize a workshop with the topic “MSA, challenges and problems”, with the participation of its participants 2008 and alumni network. The workshop was held on May 7, 2008, at the conference room of the Ministry of European Integration of Albania.
The main topics of the seminar were:
- Introduction to the SAA and its national implementation plan
- Institutional cooperation, reforms and programs
- Freedom of movement and the liberalization of visas
- The perspectives of Albanian accession into EU
