From 17-18 and 22 November 2007 the Albanian School of Political Studies will organize its third course named “Albania and the European Integration”. The activity will take place at Chateau Linza Resort.

This course focuses on the history of the European Union and the Albanian challenges in its way towards European integration.

Objectives of the course are:

• Increase their knowledge on the foundations of the European Union
• Understand the internal mechanisms of the politics and economy of the EU
• Understand the challenges that Albania faces in its way towards European integration
• Have knowledge on the SAA process and its impact in the Albanian reality
• Develop a comparative aproach on various experiences coming from EU member states
• Increase their knowldege on EU programs and policies in particular with the focus on Balkan region
