The annual spring meeting of the Directors of 21 Schools of Political Studies of the Council of Europe took place on 24-25 May 2018 in Strasbourg.  Topics discussed included how to better share good practices and expertise among the Schools, how to evaluate the curriculum and how to create synergies with other Council of Europe programmes.
The directors also discussed the organization of the next World Forum on Democracy in Strasbourg, whose theme will focus on “Women's participation in public and political affairs and combating violence against women” (https://www.coe.int/en/web/world-forum-democracy)

Using this meeting, directors directed a solidarity letter to Mr. Osman Kavala (https://www.osmankavala.org/en) one of the founder of the Turkish School of Political Studies, who is arrested since last October in Istanbul.
